From cocktail hours to NYE, let's not let the fun times end! For the past few seasons, glittery / gold might have been considered as outdated, old, tacky, whatever. However, this year, all-out sequin items have definitely come back loud. Who said glitters and sparkles are exclusive to NYE? No way! Be as glittery and shiny as you want anytime anywhere and outshine that city lights at London Eye, Big Apple or Sydney Harbour Bridge (depending where you are). 2019, go home or go GLAM.
To be completely honest, for this 24-year-old me right now, it's indeed a very tricky question. Yeh, normally, or at least for the past few years, I will have known exactly what I want, where I am heading to, how I am gonna achieve it, whatever. However, right now, I just don't know. My life's usually laid out with plans of specific time frames and then I just walk through it one by one. But now, 3 years of law school, followed by another year of PCLL, and then getting qualified in Sept 2019. And, what's next?

If you ask me what I think is the most signature London element, no doubt I would say red socks and checks. All kinds of checks. Honestly I can't say much more about red socks, because even I can't explain why I find them really iconic and London-ish. But for checks, especially those brown / tartan / glen plaid kinda checks, they just make me feel very London. I mean Burberry has it, Gieves & Hawkes has it, Liberty has it, and Vivienne Westwood, the Queen of tartan. Every time I put on some checks in London, I just feel extra smart and put together that day.

Before we properly enter the countdown month to Christmas, we should also properly dress up for November. For me, nothing’s more appropriate than wearing all shades of earth tone during this month of the year. I was once called Miss Oatmeal by different people because of the colour tone I always wear / choose. I almost don’t realise every time I pick up something in a shop, it will be of some shade of oatmeal colour - white, nude, beige, brown. Almost 90% white actually - the “bakshutshut” colour. And it’s true, I love whites and browns. (Read more…)

As I recall, last time during the Happy 3rd to Dear Postman: Q&A, one of you asked me about the transformation of my fashion style (full lookbook here). I have to say that's my favourite question (and also a very tricky question) and I did spend some time looking back at my pictures to find out the answer (also to realise I used to be chubbier). There's this one item or one style that I’ve been loving more and more over the years, and pretty much my go-to whenever there's a special event or meeting, or even when there’s nothing special honestly.
And that is…
