Weight Loss Diary: Diet, Mind

I am 22, and I started my weight-loss journey since 14.  I am 160cm, currently weigh 100lb (BMI = 17.6).  You would be thinking: how on earth do I have to lose weight?  But trust me, I used to be famous for my big thighs, unproportionally-swollen lower body, fat hips.  Over the past 8years, I had tried every single method on earth just to see my weight go down.  I cut my carbs, my meat, sweets, and eventually only allowed myself to drink a bowl of soup a day, and later only water.

Weight loss is a girl's life goal, and you never stop losing weight.  Here's to the 3 top tips to my healthy and happy weight loss journey - Diet, Mind, and Workout - how I eat more yet stay fitter every day.  (Read more...)

Be a Lady Project

Entering the Victorian-style Tea Saloon by Another Fine Day, up from the elegant chandelier to the small antique teacups and cutlery from Blooms Tea, you are immediately absorbed into the 80s garden tea party, surrounded by the royal aroma by Parfumerie Tresor.  Around you is nothing hi-tech, new or quick, but the finest silk flowers from Bunny Garden and decent finger food by Rachel’s Kitchen and people who share the same level of elegance.  Meanwhile you might want to enjoy the floral arrangement tutorial by Soloman Bloemen where you can find the ethos brought to another level.  Or you might as well grab that hat from Annette and *CHARK* get that shot down with a vintage film camera.

Be A Lady Project is the first annual boutique pop-up event by seven premium brands.  Each lifestyle brand will bring their own take on how to be a lady and look back to the past for inspiration.  In this fast paced city, we seem to forget the etiquette and charm needed to be an elegant lady.  *Goodies time!* The seven brands aim to bring those values back to the modern day girl through a series of workshops and events throughout the November calendar - nothing but classiness, manners and elegance!

Life's a Joke, Artoday

LIFE's A JOKE - Enders Wong, the founder of Artoday

Life is unreal but real at the same time.

Mr Enders Wong, graduated from Masters for Fine Art at Chinese University of Hong Kong, owner of two art studios, the first prize of the 2013 Tea Ware by Hong Kong Potters, has emphasised that Art should be limitless and creative.  Nothing’s impossible with Art, just keep trying.  Yet, all creations have to be backed up with the equivalent knowledge and skills.  That’s why Artoday is here to inspire, to expand one’s creativity, overcoming impossibilities.  To teach, or more accurately, to nurture, the spirit of Art with his highest level of professional art education.

#FollowDearPostmanTo Seoul, Korea Part II

Continuing from our previous post, here’s Day 4-7 of our Seoul trip.  The trip has been a blast.

PS. This photo has meant more than anything for us.  Thanks for sparing these 7days to travel with me.  We've been talking about this for so long and we are finally here.  I know life's hard (and I'm hard to handle), but thanks for bearing with me still.  A 7-days 24-7 in somewhere, not known by anyone, not focusing on our phones, feels extra intimate.  Have no idea when the next trip will be, but I promise, I'll wait.  I'll wait, as always.

#FollowDearPostmanTo Seoul, Korea Part I

You may have travelled with your boyfie for many times now, but that’s in fact our first proper trip.  Departure from the airport no longer felt sad, but actually magical.

Our first ever #FollowDearPostmanTo travel post!  Credits all to the expiring-soon Asia Miles and sudden impulse that made this trip happen.  For us (especially Z), a 7-days-getaway is probably one hardest thing to fit into our schedules.  But after all these years, it finally happened.  So now, SEOUL!

Following from our previous LIPS AND BOYS game, have you found yourself?  Not a TomFord independent-thinker, nor a sexy Chanel mistress?  Or are you the Louboutin queen?  Possibly the YSL sweet girl.
