Hi everyone – second blog post of April. As I have said in the previous blogpost, shortly after I moved back to Hong Kong, I then went on another one-week short trip to Sydney with my 2 bffs. That explains why I was out of the blogging game for the past 2 weeks (?) But, anyways here I am again, back with a clear head space, way-too-many contents / life updates to share with you all lovelies.
Having said that, why not start with something drooling – Part 2 of the Sydney Café Hunt!
It's late July, but I mean, hey!, it's really sunny and hot every day. Summer's definitely early this year. Summer, summer, summer. What's better than a cup of ice coffee with some jazz music, with three of your main girls together talking about clothes, make up, shopping and boys, you tell me. Oh right, and remember to order my fries because there's no proper tea time without fries. Plus I love them hot.
While you are struggling where to go for the coming weekend, here's 3 cafés you might wanna visit. Call your besties now. (Read more…)
2 days. 2 more days until the Cupid Day in case you forget – or are panicking – about it. Here's the bomb of the year boys and girls – the Valentine's Day. Oh well, you can barely forget it's the DAY since your bouquet/kisses-filled Instagram will remind you, your Facebook will remind you, and yeh the love birds on the street. Don't get me wrong – I love Valentine's Day, I love the Day being genuine, warm and unique.
So here's my Valentine's Day suggestion, love birds. (Read more...)
What season is it? It's Party Season! Parties, fortune cookies, crackers, champagne, everything sweet and nice. It's finally the time of year when you throw your own house party, dress up and get drunk. Parties are great, but it can always be a pain in the neck for the hosts. Looking for venue? What about the food? Oh the theme... My party-lovers, no worries because DearPostman got you covered. (Read more...)
Day 11 of My Summer - Except for travelling, I couldn't name a better way than Cafehopping to enjoy my summer. Cafehopping is literally what I do whenever I have time in Hong Kong. And to be fair, even if I am travelling, every now and then I will crave for my caffeine. It's okay not everyone likes coffee, but if you do, you will know what I mean, bro. That crave is just real and often quite intense. So, short and sweet, here's 3 cafes I go during my Summertime. (Read more...)
Talking about Taipei, it’s either food, or food, or FOOD, or maybe some shopping or partying. So as you all know, I have gone to Taipei for a good 7 days and - apparently - have eaten a lot. I have a very small stomach. I may not eat a lot but I get hungry really quickly. I am the kinda animal girlfriends that get totally tamed after I get fed.
So without further ado, Get Fat with the Postman in Taipei! Follow us now!
And yes, check out our #FollowDearPostmanToTaipei Part I and Part II if you haven’t.
Being alone does not mean that you are lonely. Likewise, you don't have to be alone to feel lonely. It's a state of mind. After years of denial of being alone, I have started to enjoy the alone time, the private thinking time. Living in a city with such fast pace, Instagramming now, and whatsapping the next second, then someone sent you that snapchat you have to screenshoot it, there's no way you are truly reflecting on yourself. Being a blogger, you might think I am a person living in social medias. But quite the opposite, I really enjoy my time without data or wifi, just me and the music - a ME time.
So the following are 3 quiet and private cafes for ME times. Enjoy.
Coming to our 3rd volume of the #FollowDearPostmanTo CAFEs (HK), I have to admit - with all my heart - that food posts are my favourite kind of blog posts to do. Simply because I can eat while I shoot. But the bad side is that I have to resist from aggressively swallowing everything down.
Without further ado, as craving as I am, the following are 3 restaurants I visited and felt so hard to resist from eating. And yeh, I was waiting desperately behind the camera.
Allow me to repeat, it’s absolutely cold in HK - not freezing yet tho. Feeling cold is surely something people don’t think I do, by how less I wear averagely. But, when I do wear layers over layers, it does mean something. Possibly because I am no longer used to the frozen weather under the Union Jack land - or that hk doesn't usually have heaters around - this November has been colder than I thought it will be.
(For those who have probably noticed - or even more probably, teased me for this reason - I have a bad sense as to termperature and what should be worn. Thick knits for a 26 and off-shoulder for a 16, mm now you know what I mean.)
Anyways, what keeps you warmest? FOOD absolutely. Here are 3 cafes/resto I have enjoyed recently! Time for another FollowDearPostmanToCAFEs now!
