Literally whenever I check the weather forecast before I travel, it's rain, rain, rain, rain and rain every day. Can you believe that? Here I am at KaoHsiung, a less popular / rural side of Taiwan. Nothing like Taipei, KaoHsiung is more about the culture, the slow pace, and history. You won't see glam night life in Ximending, nor big commercial malls like 101. The area is so much more quieter, chilled and residential. My travel looks in KaoHsiung, of course, are more casual, chill and comfy as well. As comfy and chill as KaoHsiung. (Read more…)

Following last week’s #FollowDearPostmanToShanghai Lookbook Part 1, I told you guys the number of shoes I brought to Shanghai - 7 pairs. And I’d have to admit I didn’t get to wear them all. Why Shanghai? Honestly, it's an impulse trip. It all happened over a Saturday's afternoon tea at Mandarin Oriental while I was eating my favourite scone of the town, expressing my desperation to travel. That both of us happened to have a few days' leave and we were desperate to get away from work. That we had wanted to have some Tiny Times moment, to run on the bridge in fur and gowns and to get all tipsy and flirty at a fancy bar. It just happened. We booked everything the same night and got on the plane 2 weeks later. Check out the lookbook...
As literal and straight-forward as it is, Chapter 2 of DP Fashionology is all about how to make your look look expensive. Logos and price tags don’t mean everything, the cutting and the texture are the key. That means you can always get something relatively cheap and make them look classy (which I would take as expensive). Now the trick is HOW to make them look elegant and classy. 2 days. 2 more days until the Cupid Day in case you forget – or are panicking – about it. Here's the bomb of the year boys and girls – the Valentine's Day. Oh well, you can barely forget it's the DAY since your bouquet/kisses-filled Instagram will remind you, your Facebook will remind you, and yeh the love birds on the street. Coming to fashion, people often ask me if I have tips! for my fashionology. I wouldn’t say they are tips, but more specifically, formula and theory. Formula and theory that I rely on most of the time when I come up with my outfits. So I have decided to do a new series of DP Fashionology - a collection of my styling formula or theory.
Here you are my first formula - Shoes + Bag Colour Formula! (Read more...)
