Day 11 of My Summer - Except for travelling, I couldn't name a better way than Cafehopping to enjoy my summer. Cafehopping is literally what I do whenever I have time in Hong Kong. And to be fair, even if I am travelling, every now and then I will crave for my caffeine. It's okay not everyone likes coffee, but if you do, you will know what I mean, bro. That crave is just real and often quite intense. So, short and sweet, here's 3 cafes I go during my Summertime.
# Halfway Coffee
Like its name, Halfway Coffee locates right at the middle of a slope (which took us some time to find). It's quite small and has relatively less food choices. More like a hop-in-and-go kinda cafe. But if you are totally up for the incredible Instagram photo or the traditional Chinese-style things, do give it a try.
PS. My recommendation is go on a weekday because it's really really busy at weekends and you won't want that.
Address: 12 Tung Street, Sheung Wan 上環東街12號地下
To be completely honest, I wasn't prepared to go there that day despite all the good comments of them. I was literally on my Openrice trying to get anything in Causeway Bay. And this is the reason why I like it - located right at the heart of the busy city yet a quiet and chillaxing area to be in. A wide range of food choices, fair price, and their highly Instagrammable set up.
PS. If you can barely resist anything with Ferrero Rocher, this is it! (Try it or regret it.)
Address: 2/F, Hong Kong Chinese Bank Causeway Bay Centre, 42-44 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣怡和街42-44號華人銀行東區大廈2樓
This is the place you go and grab an iced coffee before you catch your ferry across the harbour. This is the place you wait for the iced coffee that you miss the upcoming ferry but still find it worth it. This is the place you chill and look out of the windows while you pose as if you are in a MV. This is the place you can never afford to miss, while missing another ferry is okay. This is how good it is.
PS. They come from Japan, source only the best thing around the globe, serve you with the best coffee.
Address: Shop KP-41, 1/F, Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀天星碼頭1樓KP-41舖
I know I said "you can't afford to miss it" for nearly every cafe I recommend. But that's exactly what's about - you can't afford to miss any of them. Try it or regret it, my caffeine buddies.
