Soooo, how’s everyone’s public holidays going? Lucky you all while I am drowned in my sea of notes and textbooks for the coming exams. Yet, I am already looking forward to all the post-exam things, such as trip to Phuket, Tokyo, graduation dinners and everything sweet. - Procrastination Mode on -
AND recently I have also picked up Yoga (inc Aerial Yoga, stretching yoga, different types of yoga) and gym and they were all so fun and enjoyable. It’s always been my dream life to work in the morning and workout with my girls in the evening - and that is it. It’s only been 2 months but I can already tell my body is changing in a healthy way. Maybe I will make a blogpost about my diets, workouts or even gymwear lookbook. So stay tuned, lovelies!
Coming to the fash part, this is a blogpost I have always always always wanted to talk about - DENIM! D-E-N-I-M! I loveeee denim. Simply because it’s easy to style, it can do numerous variations with the textile, so effortless, so casual, blahblahblah. I was tidying my wardrobe that day and there were two big piles of denim items, that’s how much I love denim. Denim’s not a love anymore, but necessity.
So here’s 6 denim looks (divided into 2 parts) that I adore recently!
Monday: Denim Split Skirt
Talking about denim skirts, what’s the first skirt shape that comes into your mind? A short skirt, am I right? Yes, I’d agree with you, and that’s why I love this midi skirt with a split in the front. No matter the cut or the length, I personally find this a little more feminine, a little more sophisticated. The shirt I pair with is also one of my favs. The glossy and flowy texture has made the look even more feminine, I’d say.
Tuesday Denim Oversized Jacket + Jeans
If you wonder what I usually wear for uni, that is it. Some basic denim jacket and jeans that allow me to rush out of my door in less than 10min. I deliberately go for the same denim colour tone to elongate my body. And of course, my favourite white shoes too.
Wednesday Denim flared pants with buttons up
Apart from that must-have MOTO or JAMIE jeans (apparently everyone has the same pair, so good job Topshop!), make sure your wardrobe has some other more unique denim cuts. These flared denim pants are more on the hipster / vintage style. I personally really like that slightly flared cut at the bottom and those buttons which replace the typical zip. Definitely give a more vintage and old MOM touch into the entire look.
Wooo, I didn’t realise until the end that this is a very BLUE blogpost. And that brings me back to the question - what’s the colour that suits me the best? Is it a red or a blue or do you think it’s a white? I was basically looking through the DearPostman Lookbook and I still don’t know. Tell me what you think!
PS. Hope you love denim as much as I do. Or if you didn’t, may be it’s time to make a change.
