Disclaimer: This post is going to look very nudey coloured, very oatmeal-like and very very similar.
I didn’t realise my preference towards nude/white/beige colours until a guy friend of mine told me on our fourth time’s meeting that I had been wearing all white every time I saw him. All four times through summer and winter. I promise I didn’t do it intentionally. I just love all white so much that I keep going for it whenever I run out of outfit ideas. White/nude gives me that light, clean and breezy feeling I can never let go. So, I hope you bear with me: my nude lookbook!
#1 High key nude
This is not too much of a nude but something in the mix of white / beige / taro. My tip to avoid your look from being too dull will be: layer your look with different shades of nude. Keep your focus to only one colour, which I pick the maroon in my bag and my heels.
#2 Nude sets
I like “sets”. They are too convenient for me to resist from not buying them. They are those things that you can go out great with only the top, or the bottom, or if you are lazy enough, the whole set. And this set from Giordano Ladies, they have the best winter texture I can guarantee you.
#3 Nude salon skirt
This outfit perfectly illustrates how I put every random thing of the same colour together to create my look of the day. Honestly that’s just my usual lazy combo. Care about nothing and put everything together. The usual turtleneck top and a salon skirt. Throw a scarf from the same family on. All good and let’s rush for class now!
So that’s it. The best / accurate / on point description of all the above looks will probably be “oatmeal-like” (by that same male friend). Honestly, it does makes me a lil bit embarrassed when he reminded me my all-white preferences LOL (since it sounds like that’s the only colour in my closet). Anyways, hope you all aren’t fed up with oatmeal by now.
