Back to my mum’s days, they used to make their own ripped jeans. They were not allowed to buy expensive denim. Ripped denim which looked very much “broken” and “wasted” were definitely something adults at that time would never understand or accept. My mum always described to me how they secretly hid under their blanket at night to cut them and scratch the ends to create the tassels.
Outfit1: White Basic tee with ripped denim shorts
A white basic tee and denim are the best buddy ever. You can never go wrong with them. Whenever I am having my OOTD disorder problem, I will always go to these two best buddies. Don’t get me wrong by the way. I am not saying I wear the same pieces every day. That’s the trickest part. You can always get a different white tee, V-necked, round necked, cropped, with any denim, shorts or jeans or skirts. The numerous combos created out of these two buddies definitely save many of my days, from being late or looking ugly.
Outfit2: Halter Neck top with ripped jeans
One of my favourite looks for this summer. The ripped open part at my knees for this boyfriend jeans show a bit of my legs, without being too tight, which makes my legs look slimmer. And for those who have been following me for a while may already know that I have many halter neck stuff. Another halter neck here. This flowy A-lined top shows a little bit of sexiness and casualness which coordinates really well with the bottom. Such a rebel.
My love for ripped denim is probably a genetic thing from my mum. I absolutely adore them. Basically the more they are ripped, the more I like them. I am never a “girl-nextdoor” type of girl I am afraid.
